I want to help build a society where people who are often left behind by structural barriers can live with dignity and peace of mind.

Michika works on developing programs that promote impact management and practical fundraising with global partners at Japan Impact Institute. She also coordinates FRJ, a national conference that brings together fundraisers from across Japan. Before joining JII, she spent 8 years at a nonprofit organization that worked on international cooperation and youth development, collaborating with partners in three Southeast Asian countries. She holds an MBA from Shizenkan University Graduate School, is a Certified Evaluator by the Japan Evaluation Society, and a Certified Fundraiser.
