Mariko engages in initiatives on philanthropy among high-net-worth individuals at Japan Impact Institute, while at AVPN focuses on community building in Japan and cross-border collaboration across Asia as a Northeast Asia Manager. She previously worked in the private and nonprofit sectors in corporate sales, project planning, and fundraising, and at the Nippon Foundation promoted a culture of giving among individual and corporate donors. Mariko holds a Master’s degree in Medical Interpreting and International Medical Management. Certified Fundraiser and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®). Mother of one.
